    Perform all phases of plating, cleaning and wastewater pretreatment operation following standardized methods and procedures. Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plating department.

     

    + Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job training

    + Follow plating cycle and prescribed cleaning procedures to obtain proper finishes

    + Perform analyzing procedures with laboratory test equipment to maintain adequate solution levels to achieve proper plating, cleaning, and waste water pretreatment

    + Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate products

    + Maintain records, charts, procedures, work move tickets, labor reporting, and S.P.C. recording

    + Be familiar with all systems, procedures, and plating techniques within the department

    + Perform all material handling within the department

    + High school diploma or GED

    + 3 - 5 years of plating experience

    + Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills

    + Good math, reading and writing skills

    + Basic computer skills
