As a **Security Professional Armed Patrol Aero** in **Canoga Park, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing prompt, courteous assistance to clients and visitors. This position requires both armed and driving duties, so you will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of professionalism while operating a vehicle and carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to personnel within the location.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and objectives.

+ Follow all protocols for handling access control, visitor management, and incident reporting as required by the site.

+ Remain prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, and/or unusual situations as directed.

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.

+ Possess a valid firearms permit. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
