Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a dedicated Utility Payment Clerk to join their team. As a Utility Payment Clerk, you will be an essential part of the customer service and administrative support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Utility Payment Clerk (Cashier)

**Location:** Roxboro, NC

**Pay Range:** $16- $18 depending on exp

**Shift: Monday -** Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm

Duration: Temp 4-6 weeks

What's the Job?

+ Processing payments at the payment window and drive-thru efficiently and accurately

+ Entering payment details into the system with precision to ensure transaction accuracy

+ Greeting visitors warmly and notifying relevant personnel of their arrival

+ Handling various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks

+ Performing clerical or data entry tasks as assigned to support daily operations

What's Needed?

+ No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

+ Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
