    We are hiring a Night Shift Feed Production Assistant to join our team in Grinnell, Iowa (just an hour east of Des Moines, IA). In this role you will be responsible for safely assisting the feed mixers with the mixing of livestock feed rations within established operating procedures and FDA compliance. They will also assist with housekeeping and routine maintenance.

    This role is for you if you have:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    • Valid Driver’s License.

    • An outstanding work ethic with ability to pay attention to the details.

    What you will be doing:

    • Receiving and recording all bag feed ingredients according to FDA and Key Cooperative policies. Informing the site supervisor of any quality or quantity concerns.

    • Accurately weighing “hand ads” for the next day’s production.

    • Loading bulk feed trucks with customers’ orders.

    • Providing great customer service while loading bagged feed for customers

    • Assisting in managing warehouse inventories for freshness and efficiency.

    • Performing housekeeping and routine maintenance and completing necessary records for these duties.

    • Assisting in keeping all inside and outside work areas extremely neat and orderly.

    • Following company safety guidelines and safety programs, along with required safety reports and records.

    • Promoting the business with existing and potential customers.
