**Job Title:** Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the foodservice packaging industry, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

+ Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as Bridgeport mills, surface grinders, honing machines, broaching tools, and engine lathes.

+ Operate CNC equipment as required to support manufacturing processes.

+ Evaluate and work from blueprints, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair parts without detailed prints.

+ Inspect own work to ensure it meets blueprint specifications using precision inspection tools.

+ Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and indicators, owning personal inspection tools and hand tools.

What's Needed?

+ High School diploma or GED.

+ Commitment to continuous learning through structured training, on-the-job experience, and online courses.

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders.

+ Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
