Step beyond the classroom and apply your technical knowledge in the real world. Verdantas is seeking a driven Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 at our Wilkes-Barre location.

We’re looking for a talented and inquisitive engineering intern who’s eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting and learn from experienced professionals. This internship offers hands-on exposure to engineering projects that make a tangible impact, along with mentorship from a collaborative team that values innovation and curiosity. You’ll gain practical experience in problem-solving, design, and development, while building a strong foundation for your future career in engineering.

What You'll Do:

• Support daily operational needs of assigned department/area

• Assist with special projects and assignments

• Participate in meetings and take notes as needed

• Complete assigned tasks and requests in a timely manner

• Seek out new learning experiences and self-development opportunities

What You Bring:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during summer break

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Salary Range:

20.00 - 22.00
