**Job Title:** Electromechanical Maintenance Mechanic

**Location:** Perth Amboy, NJ

Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable **Electromechanical Maintenance Mechanic** to join our team in Perth Amboy. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about keeping machinery running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment

+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems

+ Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and repairs

+ Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machinery

+ Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality

+ Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out maintenance tasks

+ Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a clean work area

+ Document all maintenance and repair activities

+ Recommend system improvements or modifications

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role

+ Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

+ Skilled in using various power and hand tools

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads

+ Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

+ Degree in engineering or manufacturing is a plus

+ Valid driver’s license preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
