Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues with equipment such as roll converters, industrial sewing machines, assembly lines, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Candidates will work primarily on the 3rd shift, with a schedule of 7pm-7am, 4 days on and 4 days off. A shift premium is offered for 3rd shift. Training may occur on the 1st shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Every third weekend, technicians will work on either Saturday or Sunday, with a weekday off to compensate.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.

+ Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks.

+ Troubleshoot and repair machinery.

+ Maintain facility and associated equipment.

+ Collaborate with maintenance vendors.

+ Keep work area clean and orderly.

+ Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.

+ Install equipment and electrical components, ensuring proper functioning.

+ Ensure all machinery complies with federal, state, and company safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals.

+ Experience with Industrial Controls.

+ Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor.

+ Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication.

+ Excellent safety and attendance record.

+ Ability to work overtime when required.

+ Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.

+ High attention to detail and exceptional organization skills.

+ Initiative to work in a team and individually.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair.

+ Strong electrical skills are preferred.

+ Experience in electrical troubleshooting.

+ Experience in mechanical and CNC machine repair.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a manufacturing setting with a focus on safety. The 3rd shift operates from 7pm to 7am on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. The 1st shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with adjustments for weekend rotations. Dress code is consistent with manufacturing safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
