    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.

    + Perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Utilize mechanical, welding, and fabrication skills.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and perform basic carpentry and math tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.

    + Performing preventative maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.

    + Experience in mechanical, welding, and fabrication tasks.

    + Ability to read and interpret complex program and equipment manuals.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience in an industrial environment.

    + Degree from a Technical School or University preferred, or equivalent work experience.

    + Experience with PLC programming and computer-controlled production equipment.

    + Knowledge of AC/DC motor control.

    The work environment is a dusty and highly industrial plant. Candidates should be open to working a second shift.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Ridge, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
