Job Title: Tool and Die Machinist
Responsibilities
+ Operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders.
+ Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
+ Maintain tolerances and finishes as specified in engineering drawings.
+ Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
+ Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines including mills, lathes, and grinders.
+ Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining efficiency.
+ Create and interpret 2D/3D models and drawings using SolidWorks.
+ Collaborate with engineering to design and build prototypes for new products.
+ Rapidly fabricate and test prototype parts to support R&D and product development.
+ Provide feedback on design modifications to improve manufacturability and function.
+ Contribute to the conceptual foundations of the design and development of equipment and tools.
+ Interact with professionals in electronics, electro-mechanics, machine-shop, automation and integration.
+ Recommend changes to tools, equipment, processes, and programs to improve efficiency and production techniques.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical, installation, and hydraulic systems, components, and equipment.
+ Ensure test tools and equipment comply with standardized operations procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in tool and die making and manual machining.
+ Experience with CNC programming and operation.
+ Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation.
+ Advanced knowledge in reading electro-mechanical manuals and electrical diagrams.
+ Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
+ Understanding of federal regulatory requirements such as GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Significant ability in design aspects or areas of discipline.
+ Advanced knowledge of machining and tool making.
+ Ability to read, understand, write, and communicate effectively in English.
+ Completion of departmental or corporate manufacturing techniques training courses.

Work Environment
You will work in a GMP and cleanroom environment, with climate control to ensure comfort. PPE will be provided by the company. The position operates on a third shift, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11pm to 7am.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
