Job Title: Carpenter/Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in a commercial/residential construction environment. This role requires expertise in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and hanging/finishing drywall. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

+ Construct, install, and repair projects using metal stud framer/hanger/finisher hand tools and power tools.

+ Follow blueprints and specifications accurately.

+ Frame walls, hang and/or finish drywall, and install ceilings with efficiency and quality.

+ Prepare or assist with layout using tools such as lasers, squares, and chalk lines.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and drywall hanging/finishing.

+ Proficient in using hand and power tools for carpentry.

+ Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1 year of general construction experience.

+ OSHA 10 certification.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-Hire position based out of Buffalo, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
