    Job Title: BOM SpecialistJob Description

     

    The BOM Specialist will work within the maintenance department and stockroom. This role involves identifying duplicate materials, processing changes for materials, and marking materials for deletion in the stockroom. On the maintenance side, the specialist will create equipment BOMs, new assemblies, material BOMs, and process changes for equipment, material BOMs, and assemblies.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive weekly priorities from leadership and execute transactions using SAP.

    + Utilize Excel to analyze individual items and their stock levels.

    + Process transactions in SAP including MMBE, CU, MM0T, M06, MD01, IB01, IB02, MM01, MM02, CVO1N, CV02N, CS01, CS02, IE01, and IE02.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in SAP with experience in executing multiple transactions.

    + Strong knowledge of BOMs, ERP systems, and Excel.

    + Experience in building and creating BOMs for existing and new equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working in a maintenance department or stockroom.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position operates on the 1st shift, starting between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM, and ending between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
