Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Specialist - Satellite Propulsion

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist focusing on the development of mechanical subsystems for satellites. This role offers exciting opportunities to lead propulsion development and design, and to contribute to projects from inception to launch.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the development and design of propulsion subsystems for satellites.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations including CA, FL, and VA.

+ Develop and define requirements for propulsion subsystems.

+ Conduct modeling and simulation of propulsion performance.

+ Oversee integration and test activities.

+ Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) tasks to ensure project success.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years of experience in propulsion systems and mechanical engineering.

+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.

+ Expertise in satellite propulsion design.

+ Strong leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in satellite technology and systems.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $125.00/hr.
