Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role focuses on the design and analysis of electronic control units for cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and digital circuit design, EMI compliance, and technical documentation. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

+ Interpret and analyze customer requirements to guide design decisions.

+ Select design architectures that meet performance, EMI, reliability, and cost objectives.

+ Conduct detailed design and analysis of electronic control units to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

+ Balance cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and risk throughout the design process.

+ Interface with project teams and customers to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

+ Generate and review technical specifications, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

+ Perform breadboard-level testing on new development products.

+ Mentor and support junior electrical engineers in design and development activities.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience designing electrical circuits in the aerospace industry.

+ Proven experience in new product development within aerospace or military applications.

+ analog and digital circuit design and testing.

+ Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent projects.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

+ Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and collaborating with engineering and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with electric motor drive systems.

+ technical writing and documentation skills.

+ Familiarity with EMI compliance and reliability standards.

+ Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent solid modeling software.

+ Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $100.00/hr.
