Process Operator - Dry Room1st shift: 6am-2pm M-F

Job Description

The Process Operator in the Dry Room will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the drying processes. You will be responsible for handling various duties, including assisting in the Panc area with tasks such as grinding and monitoring computer panels. In the Dry Room, you will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for 2-3 hours at a time to manage tasks such as removing wet material from dryers, processing it through the mill, and handling the dry powder material by placing it into 50-gallon drums, sealing, and labeling them. Additionally, you will perform milling to refine the material into smaller and finer powder and manage the loading and unloading of freeze dryers. Documentation of all processes and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be required, along with conducting finished material tests as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in Panc area with grinding and monitoring computer panels.

+ Wear PPE for extended periods while managing drying processes.

+ Handle and process wet material through dryers and mills.

+ Manage dry powder materials, including sealing and labeling drums.

+ Perform milling to refine material into smaller and finer powder.

+ Load and unload freeze dryers.

+ Document all processes and adhere to SOPs.

+ Run finished material tests as needed.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma.

+ 6 months to 1 year of GMP experience working with SOPs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with document control.

+ Familiarity with batch records.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a production office where batch records are stored and an office where purchasing sits. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2pm. The team currently consists of 3 members, with a total capacity for 5 team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.
