Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Project Architect to contribute to the development of schematic designs and manage communication with client representatives. This role involves directing and coordinating the production of construction documents and collaborating with engineering consultants throughout all project phases. As the Project Architect, you will lead project coordination meetings, perform construction administration duties, and participate in marketing efforts by attending presentations to prospective clients. Additionally, mentoring junior staff is an integral part of this position.

Responsibilities

+ Develop schematic designs.

+ Communicate with client representatives.

+ Direct and coordinate the production of construction documents.

+ Collaborate with engineering consultants throughout all project phases.

+ Lead project coordination meetings.

+ Perform construction administration duties.

+ Participate in marketing efforts, including attending presentations to prospective clients.

+ Mentor junior staff.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Teams.

+ Experience in project management and construction documentation.

+ Professional degree in Architecture.

+ Familiarity with building codes, specifications, and engineering systems.

+ 5+ years of related experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Licensure as a registered architect is a plus.

+ Experience in Elderly Care or Multi-Family projects preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work for the first six months. Our team specializes in multi-family, hospitality, and Elderly living facilities, providing a collaborative environment with 27 dedicated professionals in the Louisville office. After six months, there is an opportunity to work remotely. We offer three weeks of vacation, flexible hours, and a supportive team atmosphere. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
