Job Title: Water Wastewater EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in municipal water design or treatment, including culinary or sewer water treatment. The selected candidate will lead a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on various municipal water-related projects. Responsibilities include designing projects for cities involving the provision of potable water, disposal of wastewater and sewage, or prevention of flood-related damage. Additionally, the role entails preparing environmental documentation for water resources, ensuring regulatory program compliance, data management and analysis, and field work. The engineer will collaborate with city and state officials on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of three EITs in municipal water-related projects.

+ Design projects for cities involving potable water provision, wastewater and sewage disposal, and flood damage prevention.

+ Prepare environmental documentation for water resources.

+ Ensure regulatory program compliance.

+ Manage data and perform analysis.

+ Conduct field work.

+ Collaborate with city and state officials on various projects.

Essential Skills

+ Civil Engineering experience with 4+ years in water treatment.

+ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

+ Experience with hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.

+ Proficiency in designing water or wastewater treatment plants with advanced facilities.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with water modeling software.

+ Extensive leadership experience for team lead position.

Work Environment

This position is preferred to be in-office 5 days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x the hourly rate. The role is available in Richfield, Nephi, Springville, or Midvale, Utah. The company emphasizes a strong work-life balance, ensuring a 40-hour workweek. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springville, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
