    Job Title: Quality Control AnalystJob Description

     

    As a Quality Control Analyst, you will perform product tests and measurements in accordance with product specifications. You will take necessary actions to correct non-conforming issues and monitor production activities to ensure compliance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Your role will involve approving product specifications, managing line start-ups, and conducting timely audits and inspections.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform product tests and measures in accordance with product specifications.

    + Correct non-conforming issues through necessary actions, adjustments, and changes.

    + Monitor production activities according to established GMPs.

    + Approve product specifications and manage line start-ups.

    + Identify and document tests for product line start-ups.

    + Conduct timely audits and inspections.

    + Summarize and create quality data for customer shipments, including Certificates of Analysis (COA).

    + Initiate and record product holds.

    + Perform final product release for shipments.

    + Assemble and file production test retains and records.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1+ years of quality inspection experience in a regulated environment.

    + Experience in Flexible Packaging, Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical quality control.

    + Proficiency in documenting results in both paper and electronic forms, using software such as Word, Excel, and proprietary systems like WinSPC.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

    + Background in Flexible Packaging, Food Packaging, Chemical Packaging, or Pharmaceutical Packaging.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working alongside production staff to perform quality checks, primarily on the production floor, approximately 95% of the time. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, starting at 3:00 p.m. and ending around 11:00/11:30 p.m., with a 40 to 45-hour workweek. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift for four to eight weeks. Weekend overtime is voluntary, unless planned in advance. The work involves fast-paced quality checks and audits/inspections every 20 to 30 minutes per production line.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
