    Job Overview

    We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is instrumental in designing and improving mechanical systems and equipment, developing prototypes, and collaborating across departments to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of product designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD, machine design, and manufacturing processes, with a passion for creating high-performance, cost-effective solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Analyze engineering plans and propose design improvements.

    + Create detailed equipment designs using CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).

    + Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.

    + Develop and test prototypes to validate design performance.

    + Document and analyze test results, making necessary design modifications.

    + Provide technical guidance to fabrication teams during production.

    + Prepare cost estimates for product designs, including labor, materials, and overhead.

    + Participate in team meetings to report progress and plan next steps.

    + Interpret technical data and provide expert recommendations.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).

    + Hands-on experience in machine design.

    + Understanding of control systems and mechanical components.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with 3D CAD modeling.

    + Familiarity with machine logic programming (a plus).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
