Position Summary
Seeking a qualified Construction Quality Assurance Representatives to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in overseeing border infrastructure projects. This role involves monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct daily site inspections and monitor construction progress.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contract specifications.
+ Review contractor schedules, payment estimates, and progress reports.
+ Prepare daily activity reports documenting site conditions and project status.
+ Support environmental compliance and stakeholder outreach.
+ Assist project managers and government representatives in construction oversight.
+ Analyze plans and specifications to identify and resolve issues.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience:
+ 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
+ Associate’s degree plus 4 years of experience may also substitute.
+ 3+ years of experience in commercial or civil construction.
+ Minimum 3 years of construction oversight experience.
+ Federal background investigation required
Preferred Certifications
+ OSHA 30 Construction
+ Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
+ Construction Quality Management (CQM)
+ EM 385-1-1
Skills & Competencies
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems independently.
+ Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable attitude.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
