• Cad Designer

    Actalent (Chatfield, MN)


    Description

    + Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, support product development, and collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments.

    + Requirements include proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent CAD software and a solid understanding of third angle projection. Previous experience with metal fabrication or manufacturing processes and a similar drafting or design role preferred

    + Prepares design sketches and layouts as part of a design team

    + Selects raw materials and components; develops specs for product

    + Utilize AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor

    + 3D modeling

    + Utilize Microsoft Office applications

    + Detail-oriented work style

    + Willing to learn new products, concepts and techniques

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     
     

    1+ year of directly related experience.

     

    Solid knowledge of AutoCAD

     

    Good mechanical, analytical, and technical skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
