Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II with a strong background in mechanical design and engineering. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge in mechanical disciplines and equipment, particularly in plastic injection molded part design using Creo Parametric. This role involves working on sustainable design practices and requires a solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems and product testing.
Responsibilities
+ Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
+ Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
+ Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
+ Advanced understanding of mechanical disciplines and equipment.
+ Proficiency in plastic injection molded part design using Creo Parametric.
+ Strong understanding of sustainable design practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with 3D modeling in Creo.
+ Knowledge in mechanical design, plastic part design, and injection molding.
+ Skills in drafting, FEA, and product testing.

The role is based in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The work involves using advanced technologies and tools related to mechanical engineering and design. The position is part of the engineering job family and operates within a professional environment focused on innovation and sustainability.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
