    Job Title: AI&T Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Test Engineer to support spacecraft test campaigns by developing test plans, writing test architecture, and documenting test outcomes. You will play a critical role in developing assembly and test processes for satellite subsystems and integration while leading a team of test engineers and technicians.

    Responsibilities

    + Support spacecraft test campaigns by developing and executing test plans.

    + Write and document test architecture and outcomes.

    + Develop assembly and test processes for satellite subsystems and integration.

    + Lead a team of test engineers and technicians.

    + Manage teams and support testing remotely in Florida and California.

    + Ensure communication between different locations is consistent and effective.

    + Support business development efforts by ensuring the scope of work is correct and contributing to proposal efforts, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in environmental testing, EMI/EMC testing, and test architecture.

    + Leadership skills with a proven track record in leading engineering teams.

    + Proficiency in writing test plans.

    + Experience with spacecraft or satellite systems.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with TVAC, shock, and vibration testing.

    + A background in spacecraft or satellite engineering.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to lead all testing activities. You will be involved in discussions about building a new facility in Colorado, and contribute to its development. This position offers the potential to become the most senior person at the new facility, with a pathway to a managerial role in the future.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $82.00 - $102.00/hr.
