Description

The maintenance technician will work within the powertrain team to achieve a key result or group of aligned results. They must possess a strong knowledge of troubleshooting PM and Electrical Systems. They must help to develop strategies to meet team and company goals. Reports to the various supervisors and managers throughout the production organization. The Technician must possess a working knowledge of standard automotive OEM process equipment and related systems be a problem solver and be communicative and proactive in the execution of daily activities.

You Will:

- Perform maintenance of process equipment in various shops at Lucid depending on department.

- Perform preventive maintenance on all types of production equipment.

- Correct documentation of all preventive maintenance activities performed.

- Work with maintenance planner to learn and use the CMMS system.

- Troubleshoot and repair complex problems on production equipment.

- Repair and/or replacement of defective parts.

- Support installation of new equipment.

- Fabricate parts for plant and/or production equipment.

- Enforce and follow all Safety rules and regulations.

- Other responsibilities as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 2 years of work experience in a maintenance capacity on manufacturing or industrial equipment troubleshooting electrical systems OR related degree with 6+mo of related work experience

Understanding of electrical control systems.

Be able to verbally explain the correct use of multimeter and other related diagnostic tools.

Understanding of PLC logic controls (Rockwell / Siemens / etc.)

Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems

Must be able to walk 15,000+ steps a day and stand all day, similar to semi conductor

Best vs. Avg:

Food & beverage experience because highly automated environment

Refrigeration school experience (RSI), Mechanic schooling

MIG, TIG, and stick welding and cutting skills

Edwards Vac submittals/formers, check MSR-FSR and ASM formers/subs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
