    Key Responsibilities

    Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance

    + Lead safety and environmental initiatives across plant operations.

    + Ensure projects comply with engineering, construction, safety, and environmental codes/regulations.

    + Support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) action item resolution.

    + Lead investigations into safety- or process-related incidents.

    + Ensure compliance with recognized good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) related to process safety.

    + Support environmental compliance, including reporting, data collection, permitting, and inspections.

    Project & Process Engineering

    + Plan, manage, and implement process improvement projects.

    + Support Management of Change (MOC) processes for plant modifications.

    + Specify equipment and materials to maintain plant reliability.

    + Prepare cost estimates and oversee procurement, acceptance, and installation of new equipment.

    + Provide troubleshooting support for operations and maintenance teams to resolve recurring issues.

    + Conduct root cause analysis and evaluate cost-effective process improvements.

    + Maintain safety, process, and technology documentation.

    + Manage small to medium-scale projects from start to finish.

    + Participate in an on-call supervisor rotation to support plant operations outside of regular hours.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).

    + 5–8 years of related experience in a continuous manufacturing environment preferred.

    + Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
