1st Shift Shipping and Material Handler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Material Handler, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient shipping process. Utilize your skills to operate tow motors, manage warehouse activities, and ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Responsibilities

+ Participate actively in the shipping process by following work instructions and parameter sheets.

+ Operate tow motors to transport finished products from the warehouse to the shipping dock.

+ Unload trucks and railcars, placing products in designated areas.

+ Load trucks and railcars with the necessary products.

+ Record and report data as required to maintain accurate shipment logs.

+ Process necessary paperwork for customer shipments.

+ Notify appropriate personnel of received materials and follow the F.I.F.O. process.

+ Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and efficient manner.

+ Alert relevant personnel of any safety and quality issues.

+ Perform additional duties as requested in accordance with contractual provisions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

+ Forklift operation experience within the last 2 years.

+ Ability to train during the day for orientation and transition to shifts.

+ Proficiency in material handling, loading, unloading, sit-down forklift, and fork truck operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.21 - $18.21/hr.
