    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process by managing the mixing and blending of feed mixes through a computerized system. Your main responsibility will be overseeing the processing of soybeans as they enter the facility, ensuring that proteins are properly separated and shipped for inclusion in animal food products. This role involves operating machinery with precision and occasionally performing manual ingredient fills, which require climbing to heights of 2-3 stories.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate computer programs to mix and blend various feed ingredients.

    + Manage semi-trucks filled with soybeans entering the facility for processing.

    + Monitor the separation and shipment of proteins from soybeans.

    + Perform manual ingredient fills, requiring climbing to a height of 2-3 stories.

    + Ensure accuracy and quality of production processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and machine operation.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks, including assembly and packaging.

    + Skill in inspection and packing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior mechanical experience on a farm is preferred.

    + Comfortable with physical and potentially dirty work.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a dusty, open-air facility where tanker and dump trucks are frequently moving in and out. Flexibility with shift times is required, as training will occur on the first shift, with potential shifts including: 1st Shift (7am - 3pm), 1/2 Shift (11am - 7pm), 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm), 2/3 Shift (7pm - 3am), and 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am).

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
