    About the Role

     

    We are hiring a **Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Intern** for **Spring and/or Summer 2026** . This **paid internship** offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment near Auburn, Maine. You’ll work directly with experienced engineers on real-world projects that make a measurable impact.

    Schedule

    + Monday to Friday

    + Full-time (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) or part-time, depending on your class schedule

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components

    + Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

    + Conduct data analysis and simulations to support engineering decisions

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering initiatives

    + Help document and report project progress and results

    Qualifications

    + Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s degree** in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field _(Preferably completed at least sophomore year)_

    + Familiarity with **CAD software** (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Team-oriented with a willingness to learn

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
