    Are you a skilled grinder with an eye for detail and a passion for precision? Join our team in **Lyman, NE** as a **Tool & Cutter Grinder** , where you’ll work hands-on with high-quality grinding machines to craft essential components with accuracy and care.

    Job Summary:

    The **Tool & Cutter Grinder** sets up and operates a variety of grinding machines, including external, internal, and surface grinders. You’ll be responsible for grinding metal workpieces such as machine parts, dies, or tools according to engineering blueprints and grinding best practices.

    Essential Functions:

    + Read and interpret blueprints or layouts to plan grinding sequences.

    + Select and secure appropriate grinding wheels based on materials and specs.

    + Set feed rates, grinding speeds, depth of cut, and wheel specifications.

    + Operate machine controls to position wheel and workpieces precisely.

    + Verify finished product dimensions to ensure conformance.

    + Maintain accuracy and safety in all tasks.

    **May require specialized experience** with certain materials, precision levels, or specific machine types.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    + Minimum **2 years** of related experience

    Preferred:

    + Associate’s Degree in Machine Tool & Technology

    + **4 years** of related experience

    Physical Requirements:

    This is a **medium work** position requiring:

    + Lifting 20–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently.

    + Frequent reaching, handling, hearing, talking, and color identification.

    + Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fine finger movement.

    **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
