Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Job Description
As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various tests required for each product, documenting results, and analyzing data to ensure quality standards are met. Your role will involve operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment, as well as communicating effectively with production personnel and quality managers.
Responsibilities
+ Complete all tests required for each product.
+ Document results and analyze data.
+ Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
+ Communicate with production personnel and Quality managers.
+ Conduct retesting of product as needed to support quality investigations.
+ Monitor use and inventories of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
+ Make recommendations for adjusting process conditions to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
+ Maintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory and plant cleanliness.
Essential Skills
+ QC Technician experience
+ Laboratory and Quality Control expertise
+ Proficiency in Chemistry
+ Knowledge of GMP regulations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BS in Chemistry
+ Familiarity with Analytical or Scientific Software
+ Strong Chemistry Knowledge
+ Ability to Gather and Collect Data
+ Proficiency in Keeping Records
+ Understanding of Lab Research Principles
+ Mathematics Knowledge
+ Quality Analysis skills
+ Knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
+ Strong Communication Skills
Work Environment
The role is based in a QC Laboratory, working within a QC team of five members. Open to all shifts! Responsibilities include chemical testing in the laboratory of in-process and finished chemical products, such as viscosity and chromatography testing.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JACKSONVILLE, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
