Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder to repair all mining equipment. The successful candidate will be proficient in MIG/Stick welding with .035 and .045 wire using a dual shield flux core. Additionally, you will perform mechanic work on conveyors, dozers, crushers, and all other large mining equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Repair and maintain all mining equipment.
+ Perform MIG and Stick welding using .035 and .045 wire with dual shield flux core.
+ Conduct mechanic work on conveyors, dozers, crushers, and various large mining equipment.
+ Heat steel, bend steel, read prints, and perform cutting and grinding tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MIG welding process with at least 2 years of applicable experience.
+ Experience in Flux Core welding using 332 fluxcore wire.
+ Ability to perform fabrication tasks including heating, bending, reading prints, cutting, and grinding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-5 years’ experience in welding with 1/16” dual shield/flux core.
+ Ability to use an air arc is beneficial.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints/drawings.
+ Willingness to engage in tasks beyond welding, such as fit-up and grinding.
Work Environment
The position is based in a covered shop with working hours from Monday to Thursday and eight hours on Friday, from 5 am to 3:30 pm during winter months. Some Saturdays may be requested as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
