Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter with foreman experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial carpentry experience and a strong understanding in renovating restaurants, office buildings, medical buildings, warehouses, and schools. We are looking for someone who is innovative, eager for long-term growth, and willing to travel out-of-state for projects when necessary. A per diem of $35/day is offered for commutes over 1.5 hours. Most projects are located around York, PA, with some requiring travel.

Responsibilities

+ Perform commercial carpentry work with precision and attention to detail.

+ Install metal hollow doors and frames efficiently.

+ Handle door and window hardware installations.

+ Hang and finish drywall to high standards.

+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution.

Essential Skills

+ At least 5 years of commercial carpentry experience.

+ Proficient in metal hollow door installations and frame installations.

+ Experienced in hanging and finishing drywall.

+ Skilled in finish carpentry and rough carpentry.

+ Ability to read and work from blueprints accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficient with power tools and tape measure.

+ Experience in trim work and concrete handling.

+ Familiar with metal stud framing and commercial construction procedures.

Work Environment

The role involves working on a commercial general construction site alongside project managers and subcontractors. Projects include healthcare, restaurant, retail, and other commercial buildings. Employees will use basic hand tools and company-supplied power tools. Work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Some projects may require travel within a 2-3 hour radius of York, PA, with a per diem provided for overnight stays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
