    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Building and Maintenance Technician for our industrial metal manufacturing company. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing metal manufacturing machines. You will also address minor repairs throughout the facility, such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware, while identifying and resolving issues with building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot metal manufacturing machines.

    + Address minor repairs throughout the facility, such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware.

    + Identify and resolve issues with building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.

    + Perform tasks like lubricating parts, inspecting components, and ensuring proper functionality.

    + Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other electrical components.

    + Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to assess crane condition and identify problems.

    + Replace worn or damaged parts and perform necessary repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

    + Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair work.

    + Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure all work is performed safely.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.

    + Experience with motors, heavy equipment, machine maintenance, and crane service.

    + Knowledge of wiring, sprockets, chains, and lubrication.

    + Ability to operate boom lifts and perform maintenance repairs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3-month training on 1st shift (5:00am-1:30pm), then transition to 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm).

    + Experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.

    + Ability to perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues in both shop and field settings.

    This is a Contract position based out of Carson, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
