    Description

    We are seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client in the construction industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail. The role offers the chance to gain valuable industry experience while transitioning into a long-term position.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

    + Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies

    + Handle subcontractor payments, lien releases, and prevailing wage documentation as required

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

    + Assist with weekly check runs, ACH/wire payments, and expense reports

    + Maintain organized AP files and support month-end closing activities

    + Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to address billing and payment inquiries

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of accounts payable experience (construction industry strongly preferred)

    + Familiarity with construction-related AP processes (subcontractor billing, lien waivers, prevailing wage)

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, QuickBooks, or similar)
