Position Summary
This role requires extensive weekly travel across the United States, including some weekends, to install and service equipment at new and relocating CVS locations. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service while installing, diagnosing, and resolving issues with retail technology — all within defined service level agreements.
Equipment supported includes:
+ POS (Point of Sale) registers
+ Self-checkout systems
+ Thermal and laser printers
+ Scanners, PCs, thin clients
+ Phone systems, RF devices, networking hardware
+ Pharmacy and MinuteClinic technology
+ Other related computer peripherals
Technicians will travel by car and/or plane between CVS locations, assist neighboring regions with workload, work standard day shifts, and participate in on-call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel Expenses:
A corporate card will be provided to cover all approved travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, and meals. No upfront personal cost is required.
Required Qualifications:
+ Willingness and ability to travel extensively with overnight stays weekly, including some weekends
+ Valid driver’s license with no major violations
+ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
+ Comfortable driving between CVS locations daily
+ Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Minimum 2 years of technical experience
+ Must reside in Kansas
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally work on ladders
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
+ Excellent customer service abilities
+ Technical certifications
+ Technical degree or further education
Education Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED (required)
+ Technical degree or additional education (preferred)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $31.72
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
