+ **Next-Generation Sequencing and Molecular Neuroscience:** Construct NGS libraries and analyze gene/protein expression using advanced techniques like ddPCR, qPCR, RNAseq, RNAscope, Western Blot, ELISA, and MS.

+ **Genetic Material Isolation:** Extract high-quality genetic material from human and mammalian tissues and cells, employing specialized methods such as extrasynaptic vesicle isolations.

+ **In Vitro Experiments:** Perform molecular and genetic experiments, develop cellular models (CRISPR and/or iPSCs), and explore functional genetic variations.

+ **Molecule Screening:** Screen molecules across a variety of biochemical and cell-based assays, including FLIPR, binding, expression, and luciferase readouts.

+ **Research and Collaboration:** Investigate molecular pathways related to neuronal health, collaborating with academic and medical experts to deepen our understanding of neurological diseases.

+ **Data Analysis and Communication:** Utilize your analytical skills and creativity to independently review scientific literature, record, analyze, and communicate data with clear interpretations and proposed next steps.

+ **Problem-Solving:** Demonstrate problem-solving skills and an understanding of inter- and intra-departmental roles for effective coordination of work activities.

    Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or a related scientific field with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or a related scientific field with scientific research experience.

    Additional Skills/Preferences:

+ **Technical Expertise:** Proficiency in nucleotide and protein isolation, NGS library creation, and cloning. Experience with cell culture and common in vitro molecular methods/tools.

+ Experience with rodent necropsies and tissue recovery.
