Job Description
We are looking for an **Assembly Technician** to join our team. This position will be a **Full-Time, contract** and **Onsite** . The shift: Sun-Tue Every Other Wed 3:15pm-3:30am.
What You’ll Do
+ This is an entry-level position
+ Under close supervision, the job requires routine production
+ operations of a repetitive nature, which may support any of the following: wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and/or coil production
+ Most jobs require sitting 60-75% of the time; some
+ jobs require 100% standing
What You'll Need
Required
+ 1–2 years of machining experience preferred
+ Strong documentation skills, with the ability to be detail oriented when recording work or measurements
+ Understanding basic math as it relates to product and material measurements
+ Ability to count, perform basic addition, and subtraction using both English
+ measurements and metric measurement systems
+ Ability to read and understand English for safety purposes and to follow, fill out, and process internal forms
+ Ability to understand directions given by supervisors in English
+ Ability to use some power tools and perform light lifting and carrying (up to 20 pounds)
+ Ability to measure small wires using a ruler and perform inspections on very small parts with and without a microscope
+ Good manual dexterity to perform production tasks and ability to appropriately
+ identify and calculate measurements and handle small parts
+ Ability to communicate effectively
+ Good eyesight or appropriately corrected vision
+ Ability to follow instructions and accurately attend to details
+ Ability to read blueprints a plus
Preferred
+ Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong written andverbal communicationskills inEnglishare required to perform essential job functions including reading various signage throughout the facility, comprehensive understanding of various documentation, understanding and communicating processes to ensureworkplace safetyand job efficiency
The pay range for this position is $21.85 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
