We are looking for a Business Director for Olefins to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Houston, TX.

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Business Director for the Olefins Business Unit, with additional responsibility as Managing Director of STP, a joint venture pipeline company. This role is based in Houston, TX, and offers full P&L accountability, leading commercial operations and strategic growth initiatives across established and emerging markets. You will directly oversee product management and commodity trading teams, while providing indirect leadership to controlling, supply chain, and pipeline logistics functions.

As a Business Director, you create chemistry by...

+ Leading the Olefins business (Ethylene, Propylene, Butadiene) with full top and bottom-line P&L responsibility.

+ Managing commercial trading activities to optimize positions and ensure supply security for downstream businesses.

+ Overseeing pipeline operations and strategic direction as Managing Director of the Southeast Texas Pipeline JV (STP).

+ Defining and executing market and product strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.

+ Building strategic relationships to ensure supply continuity for merchants and captive customers.

+ Promoting a strong safety culture and driving sustainability efforts in circular and bio-based petrochemicals.

If you...

+ Bring at least 10 years of experience in commercial leadership, particularly within commodity markets and petrochemical chemistry.

+ Have a proven track record leading teams (minimum 3–5 years), with strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop direct reports.

+ Understand the dynamics of cracker-derived products.

+ Possess sharp business acumen and creativity to generate value in highly competitive markets.

+ Thrive in complex environments where market intelligence, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration are key to success.
