Job Title: Customer Service Representative II (CSR2) – Call Center
Project: MAXIMUS NJ State Base Exchange (NJ SBE)
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00/hour (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred)
Employment Type: Contract
Equipment Requirement: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with required specifications and second monitor (provided if needed; MAC/iOS not accepted)
Project Overview:
The NJ SBE Project is a partnership between MAXIMUS and the New Jersey State Base Exchange to support consumers during the Open Enrollment period. Services include front-line contact center support and back-office operations such as paper application data entry, document linking, and DMI resolution.
Training Schedule:
+ Duration: 3 weeks
+ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
Hours of Operation:
+ Open Enrollment (Nov 1 – Jan 31):
+ Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
+ Sat: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
+ + Last 2 Sundays of OE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
+ Last 3 days of OE: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST
+ One week post-OE: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
+ Non-Open Enrollment:
+ Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities:
+ Handle inbound calls from consumers regarding health care coverage through the Marketplace.
+ Assist with new applications, eligibility determinations, and enrollment.
+ Process life event changes, demographic updates, and disenrollment requests.
+ Document all interactions in applicable systems.
+ Provide translation services and escalate issues as needed.
+ Attend training sessions and maintain current knowledge of systems and policies.
Qualifications:
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum 6 months of customer service or call center experience.
+ Skills:
+ Strong data entry and telephone communication skills
+ + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
+ Team-oriented and self-motivated
+ Familiarity with computer systems, phone systems, and headsets
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
