    A Brief Overview

     

    Execute strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and implement new or upgraded technologies. Participate in approved projects and identify process improvements to streamline workflows.

     

    What you’ll do

     

    + Support the Project Management Office (PMO) and collaborating departments in preparing detailed project plans for end-to-end solution delivery of assigned projects.

    + Maintain communication with management and stakeholders on projects status. Escalate potential issues and risks.

    + Ensure assigned deliverables, meet defined timelines and quality standards for presentation across multiple management levels.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional team members on established and shifting to execute roadmap implementations or enhancements across platforms, products and services.

    + Align with initiatives to foster a culture of innovation, agility and continuous learning within the Bank

    + Support change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems through continuous training and communication efforts across internal and external stakeholders

    + Develop content for project Steering Committees collaborating with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to frame issues requiring discussion and decision making in a clear and concise manner

    + Participate in the planning, execution, and delivery of bank-approved and department-assigned projects, including core banking systems, digital channels and fintech integrations

    + Support the contract approval process or Statements of Work (SOWs) associated with vendor partnerships as well as the negotiations of pricing and timeline commitments.

    + Assist in the gathering of requirements for related products or platform projects and enhancements

    + Participate in defining project scope, goals and deliverables for assigned projects or initiatives

    + Support Unit Integration Testing (UIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing (if required)

    + Review results of project reports measuring company performance against project initiatives and goals

    + Support in collaboration efforts other departments to ensure technological implementations support business needs and regulatory requirements.

    + Support in defining problem solving and risk mitigation strategies and facilitates conflict resolution through the full project cycle across stakeholders.

    + Foster innovation by identifying new technological solutions to improve banking services and operational efficiency.

    + Support in the design and implementation of streamlined processes to accelerate project lifecycles, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.

    + Maintain expertise in core systems and applications to identify opportunities and mitigate errors and disruption of services to customers.

    + Recommend temporary workarounds and long-term solutions to enhance customer experience and responsiveness.

    + Organize and attend outcome-based meetings that seek all points of view to help reach consensus across project/implementation hurdles.

    Additional Responsibilities

    + Adopt best practices in project management methodologies.

    + Identify new technological solutions to improve banking services and operational efficiency.

    + Continue employee development through ongoing on-the-job training, technical training and role-specific courses.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • A Bachelor’s degree Science or Business Administration with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field is required.

    • A Master’s degree in Science or Business Administration with concentration in Business, Finance, Economics Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, Executive Leadership or related field is preferred.

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience: Strategic Planning, Product Management, Project Management, Financial Analysis, Accounting or other finance or technology-related fields.

    • Program Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, and Certified Business Process Leader (CBPL) certifications are preferred.

    • Excellent written, oral presentation skills in English and Spanish.

    • Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation

    • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, documentation and control procedures implementation

    • Advance computer knowledge in the use of MS Office and banking systems

    • Ability to adapt to change in complex organizational structures.

    • Analytical and data-driven decision maker.

    • Strong program management and project management execution skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment to ensure successful project execution

    • Knowledgeable of Banks’ products, services, operational, and regulatory processes and workflows.

    • Familiarity with overall Banking and FinTech trends.
