    The Manufacturing Technician is a skilled trade professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. Unlike general labor roles, this position requires formal trade school training (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or related) and the ability to apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues. The Technician ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install, maintain, and repair equipment and facility systems using specialized trade expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or related technical fields.

    + Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, piping layouts, and technical drawings to guide work execution.

    + Utilize trade-specific tools and diagnostic instruments (e.g., multimeters, gauges, testing devices) to troubleshoot issues and verify system performance.

    + Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

    + Assist with equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and technical modifications in coordination with engineering and operations teams.

    + Fabricate or assemble components using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and trade techniques.

    + Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and issues identified, using SAP or CMMS systems.

    + Adhere to established safety protocols and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in technical operations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Completion of a certified trade program in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or a related technical field.

    + Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a skilled trade or technical maintenance role.

    + Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

    + Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.

    + Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

    + Proficient in:

    + Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

    + PDF editing tools (Adobe, Foxit, or equivalent)

    + Experience with SAP or CMMS systems for work order and maintenance tracking is preferred.

    + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

    + Highly adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of seamless task switching.

    + Innovative thinker focused on delivering high-quality results.

    + Strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.

    + Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Clear and effective communicator, able to articulate complex concepts in both individual and group settings.

    + Collaborative team player with experience working across cross-functional teams.

    + Good interpersonal skills and a cooperative mindset.

    + Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
