UPMC's Center for Children and Families (CCF) is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist III to join the team! CCF is an outpatient clinic that offers a unique team approach to treating patients. CCF has have 3 resident programs which are part of this team, and we work closely with the doctors to treat our patients. Since we are in the city, we service a diverse population of 7 to 25-year-olds and their families. Our family therapy clinic offers training to therapists through live supervision. Candidate must hold an active clinical license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW), are they provide oversight and support in the supervision of non-licensed staff.

Responsibilities:
* Clinical Responsibilities: Independently assesses new patients and documents findings using standardized formats. Develops and updates individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and program guidelines. Provides individual and group therapy, engages families when appropriate, and educates patients on recovery. Refers patients to appropriate levels of care or community resources as needed. Participates in treatment team meetings to monitor progress and adjust care plans.
* Documentation & Administrative Tasks: Completes all clinical documentation on the same day of service. Ensure insurance authorization by sharing necessary clinical information. Maintains daily productivity records and manages caseloads with minimal supervision.
* Quality & Compliance: Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Engages in regulatory and licensure preparation activities. Uses evidence-based approaches and continuously develops clinical skills.
* Training & Supervision: Participates in system-wide training and helps assess program training needs. Provides in-service training to staff and may supervise entry-level staff or students. Occasionally assumes supervisory roles to ensure continuity and safety in care delivery.
* Other Duties: Performs additional tasks as assigned and adheres to system-wide competencies.
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
* Four years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
* Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.
* Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LFMT) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
* Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
* Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
* Act 33 with renewal
* Act 34 with renewal
* Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
