    Behavior Technician – School-Based Role

     

    We’re looking for an experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team and work directly in school settings with children and young adults who have special needs. This role involves supporting students’ educational and behavioral development in collaboration with teachers and other specialists.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide behavioral support and interventions in a school environment

    + Work closely with educators and behavioral professionals to help students meet learning and behavioral goals

    + Support children and adolescents with special needs in achieving greater independence and success

    Requirements:

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Behavior Technician, preferably with pediatric clients

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years old
