As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Intelligrated, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge automation solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies will ensure that the products developed meet the highest standards of quality & reliability.

You will be part of our Core Product Center of Excellence & you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid 3-2 work schedule.

In this role, you will be a leader in the development of innovative electro-mechanical systems & components, ensuring they drive value to our customers while enhancing the overall performance & functionality of our products. You will be a part of a leader in the material handling industry.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Lead or participate in the development of conveyance & material handling equipment, from concept to production.**

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements & specifications.

+ **Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, components & assemblies.**

+ Support installation & aftermarket on customer deployments and issue resolution.

+ Travel up to 10%

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

+ At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design & development.

+ **Proficient in Solid modelling.**

+ Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies.

+ Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis & simulation tools.

+ Experience with six sigma, product testing & validation processes.
