As a Shop Technician for Southwest JCB, you will be an integral part of the service department. The shop technician will diagnose and repair various JCB equipment and components in a shop environment, including diagnosing issues, ordering parts, handling customer and warranty reports, communicating with customers, and maintaining company assets. The position’s primary focus is to [perform quality maintenance, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment] while providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

+ Diagnose and repair equipment and components.
+ Properly source and order parts to ensure the repair is fixed correctly the first time.
+ Work in a shop environment on various JCB machines.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on JCB equipment in a shop environment as directed.
+ Communicate the progress of repairs with the Service Manager and the customer to ensure top customer satisfaction.
+ Use of company vehicles and special tooling properly, including maintaining all company-owned assets in a clean and safe manner
+ Completing all paperwork promptly, including work orders, parts orders, time, etc.
+ Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
+ Other duties and projects are assigned by direct management.

Education/Additional Requirements:
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
+ A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
+ Computer literate with the ability to process information.
+ Ability to communicate, prioritize and maintain time management.
+ Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
+ Physically able to perform duties and lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Maintain a great attitude toward work.
+ Adheres to company policies, procedures, and practices as required.
+ Acceptable driving record.
+ A history of safe work habits.
+ Driven, self-motivated, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Valid Driver’s License/Acceptable Driving Record.
