Description
This position will include a well-rounded understanding of the how the mortgage business works and what drives it. This understanding includes, but is not limited to, loan origination, loan delivery, capital markets, pipeline management, and mortgage pricing. The position will build a full knowledge of pricing and product guidelines to efficiently and accurately support the interest rate risk of the pipeline, work with sales and operation partners to ensure our policies and procedures are followed and upheld, and to research and provide data and feedback to appropriate parties as needed.
Primary responsibilities include
+ Distributes rate sheets to all divisions within the organization and vendors.
+ Monitor Capital Markets inboxes and respond to emails in a timely and accurate manner with an emphasis on customer service.
+ Answer phone calls and voicemails in a timely and accurate manner with an emphasis on customer service.
+ Support origination channels throughout loan process on pricing and lock policy questions/concerns.
+ Create and manage pipeline reports which include reconciliation as well as research and resolution of any discrepancies.
+ Other duties as assigned
Skills / Experience
+ Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and other MS Office software.
+ 2 - 3+ years of customer service experience.
+ Mortgage industry experience preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
+ Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
+ Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
+ Ability to work well with others in a team environment
+ Excellent data entry skills
Hours / Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) / This is the hybrid position - 4 days in the office
