We are currently seeking a Liferay Developer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Hybrid: In office 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a highly skilled **Liferay Developer** to join our technology team. This role focuses on the design, development, testing, integration, and support of banking applications, with a strong emphasis on Java and Liferay DXP portal development. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about delivering innovative and high-quality software solutions

Key Responsibilities

+ Specialization in designing, customizing, and maintaining solutions built on the Liferay platform

+ Design, develop, test, and support Java and Liferay DXP portal applications independently.

+ Participate in application design sessions and propose technical alternatives that support business objectives while reducing technical debt.

+ Create detailed design specifications for implementation and ensure high-quality system software.

+ Write and execute unit tests to validate application functionality against business requirements.

+ Maintain application builds, deployments, and configurations.

+ Perform peer reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

+ Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration and coordination.

+ Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies in the software development industry.

+ Communicate status updates and track time against project deliverables daily.

Basic Qualifications

+ Core: Java, Spring, OSGi framework, Liferay APIs.

+ _5+ years Liferay DXP 7.2_

+ _8+ years Java 8 and front end development_

+ Frontend: JSP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular).

+ _8+ Java Server Pages (JSP)_

+ 8+ Years HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

+ Databases: MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

+ _5+ years SQL Server_

+ DevOps: Git, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes (for Liferay containerization)

+ 5+ years Git

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working in a banking or financial services environment.

+ Search: Elasticsearch (commonly bundled with Liferay).

+ Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
