Accounting Supervisor

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing a non-exempt team (e.g., income auditors) responsible for the cash application of vendor receivables. Solve accounting problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Awareness of vendor and OpCo needs and establish policies and practices to effectively meet those needs. Provides leadership to office personnel and works closely with other departments to meet the needs of the customer and clients. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Duties:

+ Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.

+ Timely processing of invoices and cash application.

+ Resolve collection issues

+ Address more complex deal issues.

+ Manage skipped invoices

+ Elevate vendor issues that require deduction, as needed and with approval

+ Analyze and interpret vendor agreements, numerical data, and perform basic financial analysis to ensure trackable programs are loaded into the correct system.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Required Experience: 2 - 4 Years of Accounting, business, and/or related area experience; Contract, collections, and customer service experience.

Team lead experience.
