As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind throughout the location. You will be visible and approachable, using your customer service skills to assist individuals and address concerns as they arise. This role also involves clear communication and the use of technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and incidents. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the financial institution in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

+ Support access control protocols by monitoring entrances and exits as part of regular patrols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the financial institution environment.

+ Assist with crowd control and/or guiding individuals during emergency situations as directed by site procedures.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preference given to those with prior experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
