The Boeing Global Services' team is searching for an **Associate Wiring Diagram Design and Systems Integration Engineer** , situated in **Long Beach, California** .

This position is to support the C-17 military cargo aircraft operated around the world. The successful candidate has an ability to perform systems integration; create wiring diagrams, system schematics, block diagrams; read electrical drawings such as wire harness, equipment installation; and resolve technical problems. The successful candidate will work with senior engineer to further develop skills. This position requires someone that is self-motivated and has leadership skills/lead potential. C-17 engineering is a customer focused organization and the ability to build strong customer relationships is a plus. Looking for a dynamic person that is ready to develop and take skills to the next level.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Develops and maintains wiring diagrams, system schematics, and block diagrams

+ Supports analysis and design reviews

+ Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

+ Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

+ Supports the sustainment, development, and documentation of aircraft systems, primarily electrical and electro-mechanical system design (will include interacting directly with USAF customer, Field Engineers, and C-17 aircraft)

+ Performs root cause analysis for field issues, provides corrective actions, and communicates with USAF customer (including presentations)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

+ 1+ years of experience in Electrical design (including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation and Wire Installation Design)

+ Experience with aircraft wiring diagrams and system schematics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 1+ years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), utilizing model-based definition, preferably on Unigraphics

+ 1+ years of experience with Siemens Capital tool

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $85,850- $116,150
